This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how subscriptions, message credits, cancellations, and refunds work for Cal After Dark. It forms part of our Terms of Use and should be read together with them.

Subscriptions and Billing

Cal After Dark is sold as a monthly subscription. Your subscription begins when your first payment is processed and renews automatically each month until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us, through our third-party payment processor, to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. All charges are in US dollars. We may change subscription prices, and we will communicate any change to you in accordance with applicable law before it takes effect.

Message Credits and One-Time Purchases

In addition to a subscription, you may choose to buy optional one-time message credits. Credits are added to your account when your payment is processed. Because credits are a digital item delivered immediately, all credit purchases are final and non-refundable once the purchase is complete, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Refunds

Cal After Dark is a digital service that is made available to you immediately upon payment. For this reason, all sales are final and we do not issue refunds, except where a refund is required by applicable law. This applies to both subscription charges and message credit purchases.

Nothing in this policy limits any right to a refund or remedy that cannot be waived under the consumer protection laws that apply to you. If applicable law in your location gives you a right to a refund, we will honor it.

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, log into your account and cancel from your account settings, or email us at and we will process your cancellation.

When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current paid month and will not renew after that. You keep access for the time you have already paid for. We do not provide partial-month or prorated refunds for time remaining in a billing period.

Billing Questions and Disputes

If you see a charge you do not recognize or believe was made in error, please contact us first at before disputing the charge with your bank or card issuer. Most billing issues can be resolved quickly and directly. Our billing statement descriptor is intentionally neutral and may not say "Cal After Dark," so an unfamiliar descriptor on your statement is not necessarily an error.
